I can't believe that it's the last week of October...are you ready for November.... I can't believe how fast this month went. I hope you have taken full advantage of the beautiful weather we have been blessed with!!


What we will learn this week!

  •  Writing skills-  Name writing, letter writing practice & Using tweezers to strengthen hand muscles. 
  •  Math- color sorting, size sorting 
  • Theme pumpkins and fall colors
  •  Bible lessonThe Parable of the Lost Sheep with this parable and  corresponding lessons we will learn that we should follow Jesus, trusting him as sheep trust their shepherd. Here is a super cute video that shows a Shepard finding his lost sheep.
  •  Bible Verse"The lord is my shepherd" Psalm 23:1 

Just some reminders for the week...
  • Show and Tell is Friday Please have your child bring something that starts with Q and R.  Look around and let your child find something with the beginning sounds. (PLEASE no violent toys or 'weapons')  
  • Please feel free to send your child with a water bottle labeled with their name (water only please). 
  • WE ARE STILL LOOKING FOR ADDITIONS TO ZOO PHONICS ANIMAL COLLECTION!!! We have some awesome parents that are helping us find these stuffed animals THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! Here is a picture of what we have so far...
    We still need D,I,J,M,Q,S,U,V,W,Y,Z
    We are so close!!! 
  • Reading:Remember to read to your child every day!! Reading is such a nice way to wind down and bond with your child. Take the time and unplug, and spend quality time with your child... They won't be little for long!  
  • Missing, one Teacher!!! I (Ms. Sara) will not be at school next week (November 2-6) Miss Mellyn will be in the class everyday to make sure all our angels are doing their best!

  • Grandparents day October 28th Grandparents will help us with a craft and join us for snack and chapel 
  • Harvest party is Friday October 30th we will be doing some learning work in the morning and having fun harvest crafts starting at recess time.

Forgiveness is such a wonderful thing. God forgives if we are truly sorry, the angels rejoice when we,the lost sheep, are found and return to our shepherd!!!

October 12-14th

Leaves are changing!🍂🍁

What a blessing it has been to have such beautiful weather to enjoy the colors in our mountains!! Remember we have a short week this week. We will have prekindergarten classes Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Fall break is Thursday and Friday. Childcare will be available just let the office know if you child will be here those days

God loves us at all times!! Even when we feel lost and alone God is with us!!!!

  • Please feel free to send your child with a water bottle labeled with their name (water only please). 
  • Miss Mellyn should be starting to set up our class pet play dates. Each child will get a chance to take home our cute pet giraffe.

October 5th-9th

Fall is in the air🍂🍁

I hope everyone had a relaxing weekend. I know that we enjoyed the thunder and opportunity to enjoy some hot cocoa

This Bible story is one of my favorite to teach. I feel like it is so important for all of us to know that even if we do something wrong God will always welcome us back. We can and will be forgiven. God loves us at all times!!!!
