JONI EARECKSON
She is an amazing artist that was paralyzed when she was younger and instead of giving up she painted.
So after learning about her we will be trying to paint the same way!
Here are some pictures that we took during our art class last Friday
- Phonics/Phonograms - Th, sh, ch, ee, oo & ow. Each day we try and find a new word for each phonogram. Rhyming
- Numbers- Teen number review, 1-30
- Shape- octagon
- Writing skills- letter practice and number writing
- Math- hands on counting (10 beads in a number 10 cup)
- Science- float and sink
- Theme- Dr.Seuss, cat in the hat
- Bible- "He gave them bread from heaven to eat" John 6:31.
- We will be celebrating Dr. Suse birthday the first Friday in March. More details to come soon. (Is it really almost March!?!)
- ❄️please be sure to bring appropriate clothing for the daily weather changes💧💨 We will NOT go out if we have either a RED air day OR if it way to cold
- Show and Tell is Friday we are talking about Dr. Seuss and rhyming so look for something that could rhyme with your child's name.
- Please send your child with a water bottle labeled with their name. Having one in the class room makes for fewer trips to the drinking fountain and fewer stops to our learning.(water only please).
- Reading:Remember to read to your child every day!!
